Finding Peace beyond words

Negative words from people and it hurts you.

Words are powerful. They can heal, inspire and lift us up. But sometimes, they can also cut deeper than a sword. Many of us have faced moments when someone-directly or indirectly hurt us with their words. It may come from a stranger, a colleague, a friend or even someone we love.
We want to forget those words. We want to move on. But the truth is our mind doesn't stop thinking about them. They replay again and again and every time, the hurt feel fresh. The more I thought about it, the heavier it felt, as if I was carrying that moment with me everywhere.
But one day, I realized something important: I cannot change what was said, but I can change what I choose to remember.
So, I made a decision, I told myself: "I will not allow these words to live rent-free in my mind".
I imagined those hurtful words written on a chalkboard and in my heart, I took an eraser and wiped them away-I decided they no longer belonged in my life story.
Instead, I began to replace them with new words-
    • I am strong
    • I am worthy
    • I choose peace
Slowly the painful memories lost their power. They became lighter, like dust down away by the wind. I surrounded myself with uplifting people, inspiring books and moment of gratitude. I trained my mind to see the good even in small thing: a smile, a sunrise a kind word. And I noticed something magical-when I shifted my focus to positivity, those old words no longer had the power to hurt me.

Now whenever I remember a harmful moment, I simply smile and say to myself
"That was yesterday.... Today I choose happiness."

Hurtful words may enter your life, but you don't have to let them stay. By wiping away those memories and focusing on positivity, you reclaim your power.
Because in the end the words that truly matter are the ones you tell yourself......
